We have packaged this with the "Best" Online Merchant company to provide you with a "Full Blown" Merchant account with every "Bell and Whistle". They are rated as Number One! If you are really serious about your business, you should setup this account for your business. It has a $25/month charge and a 2.25% discount rate. They are NOT restricted to the US and can setup merchant accounts for international customers too. It is Guaranteed to be the lowest cost one in the industry.
2. The Free Merchant account is ideal for anyone who wants to get started without any additional costs. It is also ideal for automatic distribution of software or E-books. Although the system was designed for online distribution of downloadable products, it can also be used to sell any items that you want to ship (you will need to handle the shipping yourself). They also have another unique feature, they will handle all charge backs and eat the loss themselves. Their discount rate is 10% or $3 for orders less than $30. There are absolutely no other fees. They do not currently have a shopping cart system, but plan to add one in the very near future.
3. If you need a cheap merchant system with a shopping cart, this would be a good choice, since the charges are only a $10 monthly fee. However, their discount rate is 9%. It will allow you to process online orders without any other commitments and has a shopping cart which can integrate with your web site using the "copy and paste" code they give you for the "buy" buttons for each item on your site. It will track all the items the customer selects and add them up at "check out" time.
