Should I choose a Unix or Windows server?
 

  As a general rule of thumb, we recommend Unix due to the many advantages it offers for web hosting. Our Instant Setup Control Panel will allow you to setup anything you want on your web site without having to wait for someone to do it for you. Also, we preinstall a few dozen Ready-to-Run Programs into your web site..  Unix provides many more features than Windows accounts and has a lower cost.

  However, Windows NT is required if you plan to do any ASP programming, run a Microsoft Access database or a Microsoft SQL database, or use Cold Fusion. We try to provide every Unix server feature that we can, but some things just can not be integrated with the Windows servers.

All accounts have FrontPage 2000/2002 extensions  

  We have tried to incorporate every feature that technology has to offer into each plan.  However, Unix and Windows NT have a few differences, such as the type of SQL server, email system, etc.
